Wedding Photographer Rogerthorpe Manor | Emma and Jake's Wedding

Emma and Jake got married at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel.  As recommended Rogerthorpe Manor wedding photographers we get immense enjoyment every time we work at this lovely venue and it's even better when everything comes together to make the day perfect - a wonderful, enthusiastic couple, great guests, a picturesque venue, plenty of time, longer hours of daylight and beautiful weather.  We worked in one of the new courtyard suites and took photos of Emma's dress and accessories as she had make-up applied upstairs, where the light was just beautiful.  Two photographers is such an advantage during this, and many other parts of a wedding day, and we work as a team to provide an excellent service and achieve the best possible photographs for our clients.  We met up with a slightly nervous Jake, and his attendants, who had scrubbed up very nicely, for their photos in the main garden, and when we got back to Emma's room she was in her dress, looking absolutely stunning!  Following a civil ceremony in the Lawrence Suite, everyone enjoyed the grounds and the weather.  The guests were fantastic and jumped in quickly for group pictures, which left some time for Emma and Jake to have a few couple photos around the main garden area before the wedding breakfast.  This was really important as we knew we would have to use alternative places for their photographs later, due to the arrival of the second wedding.  After the meal there was a surprise VIP visit from the couple's Westie, Oliver.  We were let into the secret well before the big day, by Emma's mum, as she knew him making an appearance would mean the world to her daughter and new son-in-law, and there were definitely a few tears!  Once Oliver had been whisked back to the doggy hotel, we enjoyed some quiet time getting some romantic images for our bride and groom. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hammond on your marriage.  A sincere thank you for looking after us.  We are so lucky to have been chosen to be your photographers and we loved working with you. Wedding Photography at Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel | Jamella and Mark's Wedding

Jamella and Mark found us when they booked their venue and saw an album of some of our wedding photography at Rogerthorpe Manor.  We're so proud to be recommended by the lovely staff at this beautiful venue and it's always a pleasure to capture the celebrations of the couples who choose it.  We started our coverage of Jamella and Mark's wedding, not on the wedding day itself, but the evening before with Mark and his party having haircuts and traditional wet shaves at Karl Smith in Barnsley.  It was an early start the next day and we caught up with the lads as they got suited and booted at their hotel, before we headed off to capture Jamella's preparations.  It was really good to work once again with Andrew and Gail from A & G Productions who travelled some distance to video this gorgeous wedding. With winter weddings you expect it to be cold at best, but after the ceremony the weather was mild enough for everyone to stay outside for family photographs at the church.  It was a massive bonus to be able to get the group photos outdoors with no complaints about the cold or be forced to work inside due to poor weather!  After an impressive volley of confetti at the church gate, we got a head start to Rogerthorpe Manor with only the big group photo left to organise before we could devote some time to the newlyweds and capture some couple and bridal portraits whilst we still had daylight. During a lull between wedding breakfast courses Jamella and Mark nipped into the 1610 bar for a more few pictures and after the speeches we headed outside again for sparkler and evening shots.  We had such a fantastic, fun day with this wonderful, enthusiastic couple.
