Beautiful Wedding Photography at Oulton Hall | Abigail & Mike's Wedding

Abi's bubbly personality meant we hit if off within moments of meeting and we were over the moon when we heard from her to book us to provide the wedding photography at Oulton Hall for her and Mike.  Everything took place at the one venue, we arrived early for bridal prep and caught our first glimpse of Abi's stunning dress, complete with ostrich feathers and loads of detail.  A pair of beautiful blue Manolo Blahniks deserved to be photographed in a special location and we have a place that we love to use for those extra special bridal accessories.  It was just a short hop to Mike's room and he was in the middle of sorting out his sons, Xander and Benji, when we showed up.  Abi was accompanied into the civil ceremony in the exquisite Repton Room by her proud brother, and emotion got the better of Mike as he turned to see his bride.  After the ceremony, a good pelting with confetti and the group shots, we had a special request photo to capture for Abi, who has another love apart from Mike, her car, which was parked at the front.  We had such a giggle working with this gorgeous couple and the time flew by, taking us to wedding breakfast time before we knew it.  Our bride had another special request, having seen something similar in one of our wedding albums, a portrait on the settee in the main lounge, which needs to be timed when there is as little traffic as possible through the hotel.  The speeches brought tears to a great many eyes, with Mike's sons stealing the show, and it was obvious how incredibly proud he is of them.  As regular Oulton Hall wedding photographers we know that the locations indoors are lovely and we are in our element when a couple are happy to give us their time so that we can create some evening portraits for them.  Abi and Mike joined us on the gallery before their first dance together and the resulting images will be amazing as large photos in their wedding album.  This was the time of year when it's still light until late so the new Mr and Mrs Thompson danced their first dance in the Repton Suite with daylight streaming in, to a live band, after which Abi changed into a second dress, a slinky little number, and we ended our coverage of this beautiful wedding with some twilight photos. We wish them all the happiness in the world!

Of course we would love you to share our images on Facebook but please make sure that if you do, our details are not cropped out.  Thank you.
