As recommended Rogerthorpe Manor wedding photographers we were really happy to be asked to capture Jade and Anthony's wedding day. We got on like a house on fire and we knew we'd have such a great time with them, although we had been warned that they would find it hard to be romantic without bursting into fits of giggles! We had no problem at all with that as we love working for happy, fun couples and sharing wedding days which are full of laughter and celebration. They certainly lived up to our expectations. Jade's only concern was the weather because the forecast which she's been following forever wasn't good. As it turned out, the weather couldn't have been much better and we were delighted that this great couple really did have the wedding of their dreams. We spent the whole day at the venue, starting off with our bride as she had hair and make-up done, before it was Anthony's turn in front of the camera for a few groom portraits. Jade's proud dad accompanied his daughter into the Lawrence Suite, which looked so lovely dressed in pink and lilac. We really enjoyed capturing some cracking shots of the fits of laughter as the couple made their vows. Everyone came outside to enjoy a Buck's fizz drinks reception whilst we worked through the group photo session. Looking through their images it's obvious what a great time Mr and Mrs Beckett and their guests had and it was a pleasure and a privilege to provide their Rogerthorpe Manor wedding photography. They did, just occasionally, manage to keep the romance going for a few seconds at a time and we got some beautiful images around this lovely venue. We had a few ideas for some stunning images of our gorgeous bride and Anthony was more than happy to disappear for a mingle and a drink whilst we worked with Jade to create some of our signature art portraits. We sincerely thank you both for choosing us to share your wonderful day. You were absolute stars and a joy to photograph! It's hard to imagine a more perfectly suited couple who obviously think the world of each other. We are really looking forward to seeing you both and to sharing with you all the images from your fabulous wedding day.

Wedding Photographer Nostell Priory | Claire and Andy's Wedding
It was a pleasure to return as Nostell Priory wedding photographers to capture Claire and Andy's celebrations as they tied the knot in a civil ceremony in the main house before making the walk to the recently refurbished building which had originally been the stable block and which is now a lovely reception venue. Before the Nostell Priory wedding photography started, we dropped in on the girls as they got ready in the Gamekeeper's Cottage at Waterton Park Hotel. Claire has chosen a fabulous princess style dress and a gorgeous colour scheme of deep blue, accented by bright yellow. She and her bridesmaids were very much up for a giggle and we knew that we'd have a brilliant day in their company. We caught up with Andy and the boys outside the house and managed to persuade the couple's son, Tyler-Jake, to allow dad a cuddle so we could capture a few lovely images of father and son, and then the bridesmaids arrived slightly ahead of Claire and her dad, giving us just enough time to photograph them before Claire's car appeared on the drive and the registrars came down to meet her. The weather was about as perfect as any bride and groom could wish for and after the big group photo of everyone, and some car shots, the guests were invited into the rose garden to enjoy the drinks reception, confetti throwing and beautiful weather. With generous time factored in, we got the group photos done and still had time to steal Claire and Andy and take them back to the main house for some uninterrupted photographs together before the wedding breakfast. The room looked vibrant and summery dressed in yellow and we're sure the alcoholic favours went down a treat! After the speeches we created some images on the gallery before going outside into the early evening sunshine. We love this time of year because even though you can never guarantee good weather, even in summer, the long daylight hours bring with them the chance to get outside again well before it falls dark and make the most of the locations venues have to offer. After some fun with the bridal party we went down to the lakeside for Mr and Mrs Pollington's evening portrait session. Claire made us laugh as she insisted on ditching her Vivienne Westwood shoes and making the trip barefoot! Just a short time and some stunning images later, we returned this lovely couple back to their wedding guests, their first dance and their evening party. Thank you very much for choosing us. We can't wait to design an album for you which is going to be spectacular!

Wedding Photographer Wood Hall | Jade and Jonathan's Wedding
Jade and Jonathan booked us to be their Wood Hall wedding photographers after seeing the Leeds wedding photography that we did for a friend of theirs. We love it when people tell us they found us through a recommendation. We were truly spoilt with three beautiful venues, a gorgeous couple and weather which wasn't too bad, just a bit windy. We started the wedding photography at Oulton Hall where Jade got ready with her bridesmaids; a lovely venue and a spacious suite in which to capture this exciting part of a wedding day and to photograph her dress and accessories. Jade was determined to be fully ready before we had to leave to meet Jonny and his guys and start the Holy Trinity Church, Rothwell wedding photography and we were really happy to be able to photograph our bride coming down the stairs and get a couple of portraits at the front door before we had to dash. After a really enjoyable photo session with the boys at the church we were ready and waiting for Jade to arrive with her proud dad. Sheena conducted the ceremony and kindly allowed photographs from the front and the back, the weather stayed dry, the couple were pelted with confetti at the church gate and everyone headed off to celebrate at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa. With the group photos and a few couple shots in the bag, Jade and Jonny enjoyed a drink and a mingle and we photographed the Vavasour Suite which looked spectacular dressed in pink. The speeches were hilarious and emotional, just how we like them, and an early ceremony in summer meant we had loads of daylight left after the wedding breakfast for our favourite part of a wedding day, the romantic bride and groom session, where things slow down and are less hectic, and we can spend some time taking our signature fine art wedding portraits. We did a bit of a detour first though, as some fun shots with their bridal party were very much on Jade and Jonny's agenda. We had such a great time with the new Mr and Mrs Clayton and got some stunning images for their wedding album. A fabulous couple, so easy to work with and a joy to photograph. Thank you so much for choosing us to share your wonderful day. If you would like to feature the images from our blog on your Facebook page you are welcome to do so, keeping our details on them, and we look forward to sharing the complete image collection with you soon.
