Georgina and Vicus chose a spectacular venue for their celebrations. We are recommended wedding photographers for Oulton Hall and we receive a warm welcome every time we visit. This, along with the fact that as professional Leeds wedding photographers we are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to the locations it offers, means we always have a brilliant time working there. Georgina got ready at the couple's home, so the day started with some wedding photography in Huddersfield with the girls, which is always an exciting part of the day. She had run an idea for some specific images she wanted by us at our final meeting and this was supposed to happen outside, with Vicus stopping by en route to the church and the couple standing out of sight but within touching distance of each other, but the weather decided to be rubbish so not to be outdone we adapted the idea to work inside. They shared some gorgeous, tender moments, separated by a bedroom door, and we got some beautiful images for them to cherish. We knew that Vicus would be blown away when he saw his bride in her exquisite dress! The weather forced us to work mainly indoors with group photographs taken inside the church after the ceremony, before we left for Oulton Hall. This venue really does have everything and although the grounds are lovely the interiors are so beautiful that the weather isn't that much of a worry. This wedding included some of the best singing waiters we have ever heard, hilarious speeches, and the most amazing floral artistry by Fulford Flowers, who dressed the venue. The Repton Room was breathtaking! We finally got a few minutes respite from the rain and rushed outside with Georgina and Vicus before we lost the daylight, and we were elated to be able to capture some twilight photographs too, which will be a perfect ending to their incredible Wow! factor wedding album.
