Children's Portrait Photography | A Studio Portrait for Grace

Grace's wonderful family hold a special place in our hearts.  We photographed her lovely mum and dad's  wedding, did an engagement session for them before that, sneaked in a studio portrait session of grandma and granddad's two fur babies as a surprise Christmas gift that resulted in some very happy tears, we photographed Grace as a baby to celebrate her christening, then the same for her younger sister.  Her parents have told us that they would never go anywhere else and what a massive compliment that is.  Recently, Grace came to see us for a beautiful children's portrait session and this is the start of many more of this style of studio portrait, as we absolutely love creating these timeless images on dark backgrounds, showing a child's character.  Beautiful portraits of gorgeous little people! As a West Yorkshire portrait photographer as well as being professional wedding photographers, we would be delighted to welcome your child or children to our studio. Children's Photographer in Castleford

Amy and Josie

As professional children's photographers in Castleford, we photographed Amy as a baby a couple of years ago.  It was a pleasure to repeat this with Amy's younger sister, Josie and also brilliant to be able to capture photographs of the two sisters together for their proud mum, Wendy who is a good friend of ours and a very talented florist.  Wendy runs Triffidz Funky Florist in Castleford with her sister Lesley.  Following Amy's photography session, Alex designed a montage of Wendy's nine favourite images and personalised it with Amy's name.  Wendy chose nine images from Josie's photo shoot and again, Alex created a personalised montage for Josie so that Wendy has something beautiful and very special to celebrate each of her gorgeous little girls as babies as well as having some fantastic photographs of her children together.

Emily, Maddison, Hope, Leo and Janet

It was our pleasure to welcome this lovely family to the studio.  Having worked with them on more than one occasion in the past, it was fantastic to see them again and to meet Leo for the first time.

The idea was for us to photograph Janet's four grandchildren together - no easy task getting them all to stay where we wanted them for more than a split second!

It was slightly easier to get Janet's two eldest granddaughters, Emily and Maddison, to stay with her just long enough for us to capture them cuddling their lovely grandma.

A lively and fun session with a family who have become friends.  It was so nice to see you all again and a privilege to work with you.
