Victoria and Adam chose us to be their Bridge Inn, Walshford wedding photographers and this meant a lot to us, as they are the fourth couple from the same group of friends whose weddings we have photographed, and in August it will be five couples. We hope these guys have lots more yet to be married friends, ha, ha!! Seriously, it's amazing for us as professional wedding photographers when all these fabulous people choose us to capture such an important occasion in their lives and we are privileged, so from the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every one of you lovely lot. We started coverage of the bridal preparations at Vicky's mum's house. There were the details to photograph, and the light in the conservatory where Vicky got ready was soft and beautiful. Then there was the added bonus that she was ready with time to spare before we had to leave to meet Adam and the lads and start the wedding photos at The Bridge Inn. It's really nice to be able to get a few photographs as the bride's dress is fastened and capture a proud as punch dad as he sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the very first time. We met up with the boys at the venue and it was like being amongst friends. Adam was a groomsmen at two weddings we've photographed (luckily we haven't scared him off!) and Ali, Adam's best man, was the groom who started it all. Vicky gave us a heads-up about the yellow socks the guys would be wearing and Ali gave us a heads-up about the Haribo rings he would be passing to the couple during the ceremony! A stunning Vicky arrived with her dad, the ceremony was full of emotion, and it was plain to see how much this day meant to the newly married couple. The weather was overcast, perfect for photographs, but threatening rain at any moment, and once the group photos were in the bag we had a few minutes away from the guests for some couple portraits before the wedding breakfast. Thankfully, the rain held off for long enough. During the speeches Adam sang a song he'd written especially for Vicky and there was hardly a dry eye in the house.
