Rogerthorpe Manor Wedding Photography - Claire and Paul

We're always happy to be Rogerthorpe Manor wedding photographers and we were booked a very long time in advance to capture Claire and Paul's lovely fun wedding at this beautiful venue.  The only thing you can't plan for is the weather but as it turned out, they made a good call with their choice of wedding date and enjoyed a glorious day of wall to wall sunshine.

We arrived a little ahead of schedule and got a really nice image of Rogerthorpe Manor before heading upstairs to check in on the girls and photograph make-up being applied and Claire's dress and pretty bits and bobs, including a stunning bouquet, which will make a lovely double page spread in the couple's storybook album.

We popped into the Lawrence Suite just before meeting up with the boys and it was completely dressed and finished, ready for the civil ceremony.  It's a really nice bonus to be able to get a shot like this.  Paul and his attendants were in good spirits and we had a laugh with them outside in the grounds before going back to Claire, who was having her dress fastened by the lady from the shop where she bought it.  Having done this many times before, she's definitely an expert and made something that can take quite a long time and create a certain amount of anxiety for the bridesmaids or the bride's mum, look very easy. This additional service to the bride is a very nice touch.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed the drinks reception and soaked up the sunshine outside on the main lawn.  The immaculate gardens and surroundings are one of the things that make wedding photography at Rogerthorpe Manor such a pleasure and with great co-operation from the guests, meaning we had the main group photos in the bag in record time, we made the most of the locations for some couple shots before leaving Claire and Paul to mingle and chat whilst we photographed the Lawrence Suite dressed for the wedding breakfast.

An early wedding, a beautiful summer's day and long daylight hours mean plenty of time for photographs and for the bride and groom to relax with their guests.  Claire and Paul were wonderful to work with, great fun, and a pleasure to spend the day with.  We really enjoyed providing their Rogerthorpe Manor wedding photography.  Congratulations and a huge thank you Mr and Mrs Morgan for choosing us to capture your special day.
