Yorebridge House Wedding Photographer - Helen and Keith

We know how much Helen and Keith are looking forward to seeing this!  We're really enjoying working at some new wedding venues this year and this was our first time as Yorebridge House wedding photographers.  It never ceases to amaze us where some of our bookings come from.  We first met Keith at Natalie and Ryan's wedding at Bagden Hall last summer.  Keith is a very talented singer who performs as The Singing Major and the couple had hired him to entertain their guests during their drinks reception and wedding breakfast.  We thought he was great, we took some photographs of him, and then thought no more of it until we received an email from him asking if we were available to photograph his wedding!  It seems that he and Helen had checked out the photographs from Natalie and Ryan's wedding on our blog and really loved what they saw.  We were delighted when they booked us for their Yorebridge House wedding photography in the Yorkshire Dales.

As Keith got ready just up the road with his nephew and best man, Jonathan, after we'd covered Helen and her daughter, Olivia's preparations, we paid the guys a visit for a few photographs before returning to Yorebridge House.  The weather, although threatening rain at any moment, held off for long enough to get Keith and Jonathan's photographs outside before we went back upstairs to Helen, who was in her fabulous dress and almost ready for her dad to walk her down the aisle for the civil ceremony.

It had rained on and off all weekend and we were hopeful, although not too optimistic, of just an hour or so to get outside, complete the group photos and then walk down to the river bank with the new Mr and Mrs Tomlinson to take some beautiful images at this gorgeous location for wedding photography at Yorebridge House.  We know that they have something in mind as a piece of wall art and some of the images we captured would be perfect for this.  We did get lucky and we managed to stay outside and make the most of the stunning, picturesque setting for the couple's photographs.  Small wedding venues like Yorebridge House are very romantic and lovely for intimate weddings but poor weather creates big challenges and anyway, when you have a setting like this, you really do want to be outside.

Helen and Keith rejoined their guests whilst we photographed the wedding breakfast room and table details.  The speeches were hilarious, in particular Helen's dad's, mostly at his daughter's expense.  As this was a late wedding, once the speeches had ended, the celebrations moved quickly into the evening party and the couple's first dance which was pretty impressive.  We'd asked Keith what seemed like an obvious question - would he be singing at his own wedding?  He was pretty cagey about his plans and now we know why. He delighted Helen by singing LOVE to her before singing Go Gentle, to Olivia, the song written by Robbie Williams for his new born daughter Teddy.  Keith you were a star!!!

Thank you Helen and Keith for inviting us to capture your wonderful wedding day, filled with LOVE, laughter, family and fun.  We enjoyed every minute and we hope you love the images.

Please enjoy the photographs, leave a comment and follow us on Facebook.
