After a hectic few weeks during the early part of the year and a very busy 2018 season coming up, it's time to try and catch up on blogging and telling you about the beautiful weddings we've had the privilege of photographing so far. Joanne and Chris got in touch with us to ask if we would be their Waterton Park wedding photographers and we were delighted that this lovely couple booked us to share their special day at this gorgeous venue, with its unique island setting, and where we are proud to be recommended. After being in the thick of the buzz and excitement of the preparations at Joanne's parents' house, it was on to a new church for us, to meet Chris and start the wedding photography at St Benedict's in Garforth where the priest was very obliging, allowing us free reign to photograph the whole of the Catholic ceremony. The weather spoilt itself a bit and Joanne and her dad had puddles to dodge as they arrived, but Joanne and Chris's giggles as soon as they set eyes on each other set the tone for the entire day, which made photographing them an absolute joy. The guests really gave it their all with the confetti throwing as the everyone left the church, the weather improved enough for us to make the most of the gorgeous locations for the couple's Walton Hall wedding photography and we managed to perfectly time some beautiful twilight shots with Joanne and Chris in the archway beside the lake. They have been really quick with their selection of images and they already have their stunning album.
