Wedding Photography Selby Abbey | Carlton Towers Wedding Photographer | Li and David's Wedding

Strictly speaking, this blog post belongs to last year rather than this, because that's when we had such a fabulous day as Li and David's Selby Abbey wedding photographers and after a beautiful ceremony conducted by an awesome vicar, their Carlton Towers wedding photographers.  Life's events took over from us blogging as much as we would have liked during last year, but we just couldn't let this gorgeous day pass by without including it, as this is where we share the incredible days that we have had the privilege to be part of, express our gratitude to the clients who book us, and of course showcase our work for visitors to check out for ideas and to give a sense of our style, in the hope it will attract like minded couples who feel that we would be a great fit for them.  So back to Carlton Towers, Li's preparation venue, on a scorcher of a day.  It's like a workout getting up all those stairs! Li had shared with us that there wouldn't be one wedding dress, oh no, she had four! Plus, a second make-up and hair styling session after arriving back at Carlton Towers from Selby Abbey.  The creative side of us felt excited, the professional, keep things to time and running smoothly side of us wondered how much time would be lost whilst Li changed from one dress to another.  As it was, things worked perfectly due to Li and David's unwavering enthusiasm and willingness to work with us, the stunning weather, careful planning and the longer daylight hours.  After the ceremony and a massive hail of confetti, we left to start the wedding photography at Carlton Towers with a few minutes to spend with the couple before their guests started to arrive and Li's change into her second dress for the group photos.  The wedding breakfast room pictures came next during Li's change into a fuchsia pink gown, and with it came some carefully planned bridal portraits on the staircase whilst the guests were seated for dinner.  After the speeches and cake cutting came dress number four, a slinky red number for the evening party, during which there was a choreographed first dance, a live band, and a groom who, with his groomsmen, performed a rendition of Take That's Rule the World, much to the delight of his bride.  David must have scored some serious points for that one!  A massive thank you Li and David for choosing us to share your beautiful, colourful, joyful celebrations!  Congratulations and we wish you many happy years of marriage.

Want to share?  We would be honoured if you did but please do not remove our details from the images.  Thanks a million.
