Wedding Photographs at Waterton Park Hotel | Emma and Richard's Wedding

Our last wedding of 2017 was Emma and Richard's, at one of our favourite venues.  We are recommended wedding photographers at Waterton Park Hotel and it was lovely to end the season at this great venue in the company of such a wonderful couple.  Emma got ready in the bridal suite on the island and she had loads of pretty accessories for us to photograph before we braved the cold and started Richard's photo session outside by the lake.  Weddings like theirs are a joy and a privilege to share and despite the fact that it was absolutely freezing, Emma's beautiful smile never slipped, nor did she complain once about the cold.  She and Richard made our job an absolute pleasure.  After the ceremony in the Walton Suite and some gorgeous, emotional moments as the couple tied the knot, everyone was really obliging and trooped across the bridge for the confetti shots and stayed out afterwards for long enough for us to capture a big group photo.  We suspect the guests were glad though when we suggested they go back inside to thaw out whilst we enjoyed the company of the new Mr and Mrs Uwins around the grounds and those iconic spots, which just had to be featured in their Walton Hall wedding photographs.  We resorted to our plan B, which is good to have when the weather isn't the best, and photographed the family groups in the library, which kept everyone nice and toasty, before we broke the news to the bridal party that we had to nip out for a few minutes to photograph them around the columns at the front.  We knew the couple wanted some twilight photos, and we were determined to do everything we could to make this work, given that twilight is when twilight is and it doesn't wait!  Between the two of us we managed to capture the speeches, set up lighting outside at just the right time, rush back indoors to find that Emma and Richard were between courses (perfect!), get outside again, set them up together in the archway, arrange Emma's dress, take the photos and get them back inside again before the main course appeared.  Love it when a plan comes together!  Our grateful thanks guys for choosing us to share your celebrations, for being so enthusiastic despite it being extremely cold and for the amazing review you gave us.  Our heartfelt congratulations to you both!

Waterton Park Hotel Wedding Photographers for Lindsey and Gav

We're are very happy to have earned an excellent reputation and be recommended wedding photographers for Waterton Park Hotel, as well as other venues in our area, and we were delighted when Lindsey and Gav decided that we were the photographers to capture their special day at one of our favourite places.  The girls got ready in one of the rooms upstairs and the atmosphere during the bridal prep was one of fun and banter and we enjoyed the giggles as we photographed make-up being applied, hair being twirled and some beautiful details, including Lindsey's bouquet of peonies, roses and sweet peas, in vibrant coral, hot pink and ivory.  We left the girls and crossed over the bridge to start the Walton Hall wedding photography with Gav and the lads and they had plenty of banter of their own to keep us entertained during the groom's portrait session.  Lindsey was in her stunning dress when we got back to her room and the nerves had really started to kick in but once she was beside her husband to be the nerves gave way to smiles and joy as vows were made and rings exchanged.  The couple were showered with confetti and then the guests enjoyed the pretty lakeside surroundings whilst we photographed the groups.  Early ceremonies in summer mean a longer and more relaxed day for everyone and for us it means being able to do some couple photos and bridal portraits before the wedding breakfast and some afterwards, still with plenty of daylight.  Also, once dinner is done it's a good time to have some fun with the bridal party, as nerves over speeches are gone and everyone has loosened up.  Lindsey, Gav and their attendants were fantastic and very much up for a laugh.  Once the fun shots were in the can our bride was determined to spend plenty of time with us to get as many photographs as possible and we got some lovely portraits.  After the first dance we set up for the twilight photos Lindsey really wanted. This did mean we had to interrupt Gav who was busting some moves on the dance floor but Lindsey knew that these photos are time critical and some words from his wife brought Gav outside!  Sorry for interrupting your dancing Gav but we hope that when you see the images you will think it was worth it :) Thank you for booking us to share your celebrations and huge congratulations from both of us on becoming Mr and Mrs Smith!

Waterton Park Wedding Photographers | Emma & David's Wedding

We're so lucky to be hired to capture the celebrations of some of the loveliest couples and we are proud that the standard of our work attracts clients who value beautiful wedding photography and the top quality service we provide.  We get to work with some fabulous people and we were very happy when Emma and Dave chose us to be their Waterton Park wedding photographers. They've kept in touch with us in the run up to their wedding and during our last conversation Dave expressed concern about the weather because the forecast was rubbish for the Sunday, but we were over the moon when the forecast turned out to be wrong.  He and Emma struck lucky with a warm, dry, early autumn day, better than many of the so called summer days we've had this year, and we struck lucky being able to spend this beautiful day with this gorgeous couple and their guests.  Emma and her bridesmaids got ready at Waterton Park and we began the day's coverage with wedding photography in the Gamekeeper's Cottage, before making the trip to meet Dave and start the wedding photos at the Church of St Mary Magdelene in Campsell. Dave looked really smart in his traditional suit and the light was beautiful for his portraits outside this pretty church.  We received a warm welcome from the vicar and then our stunning bride arrived in a lovely car, beaming from ear to ear. After the ceremony and an avalanche of confetti at the church gate we set off back to the venue to arrive ahead of Emma and Dave, ready to start the wedding photography at Waterton Park Hotel. This venue really does have everything to offer when it comes to locations for great wedding photographs and Emma and Dave worked hard to help us fit as much as possible into the short time we had before the wedding breakfast.  The room looked elegant in ivory and pale peach and we decided that rather than just photograph it empty before the guests were invited in, it would be nice to include the couple within the scene.  The speeches were both emotional and hilarious, just how good speeches should be, and it was a bonus to have a few minutes of daylight after they had finished, to get outside again for a handful of photographs before darkness fell.  Mr and Mrs Holmes, you were stars and we have enjoyed every minute spent with you.  Thank you for giving us the privilege of being your photographers and for being so enthusiastic and lots of fun to work with.  It's been really hard choosing just a few images for your preview but we hope you love them and we look forward to designing a spectacular album for you soon.

Please feel free to share but please be so kind as to respect our copyright and do not crop our details off the images.  Thank you very much.
