Wedding Photographer The Bridge Inn, Walshford | Victoria & Adam's Wedding

Victoria and Adam chose us to be their Bridge Inn, Walshford wedding photographers and this meant a lot to us, as they are the fourth couple from the same group of friends whose weddings we have photographed, and in August it will be five couples.  We hope these guys have lots more yet to be married friends, ha, ha!!  Seriously, it's amazing for us as professional wedding photographers when all these fabulous people choose us to capture such an important occasion in their lives and we are privileged, so from the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every one of you lovely lot.  We started coverage of the bridal preparations at Vicky's mum's house. There were the details to photograph, and the light in the conservatory where Vicky got ready was soft and beautiful.  Then there was the added bonus that she was ready with time to spare before we had to leave to meet Adam and the lads and start the wedding photos at The Bridge Inn.  It's really nice to be able to get a few photographs as the bride's dress is fastened and capture a proud as punch dad as he sees his daughter in her wedding dress for the very first time.  We met up with the boys at the venue and it was like being amongst friends.  Adam was a groomsmen at two weddings we've photographed (luckily we haven't scared him off!) and Ali, Adam's best man, was the groom who started it all.  Vicky gave us a heads-up about the yellow socks the guys would be wearing and Ali gave us a heads-up about the Haribo rings he would be passing to the couple during the ceremony!  A stunning Vicky arrived with her dad, the ceremony was full of emotion, and it was plain to see how much this day meant to the newly married couple. The weather was overcast, perfect for photographs, but threatening rain at any moment, and once the group photos were in the bag we had a few minutes away from the guests for some couple portraits before the wedding breakfast.  Thankfully, the rain held off for long enough.  During the speeches Adam sang a song he'd written especially for Vicky and there was hardly a dry eye in the house.  Thank you Mr and Mrs Ledger for choosing us to photograph your wedding.  We wish you every happiness for the future and we look forward to seeing you again in August, as wedding guests this time.

Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photographer | Donna and David's Wedding

Donna and Dave first met us quite a long time ago at a wedding fair.  Fast forward several months and we were exhibiting as recommended Hazlewood Castle wedding photographers when a very emotional bride to be found us and explained that she had lost the leaflet she had picked up with our details on it and she had been searching for us ever since.  David said he heard the commotion from the next room and having come in to see what the fuss was all about, realised what had happened, did a date check with us and booked us on the spot.  Result was a very happy couple, two delighted photographers and a real talking point amongst the other exhibitors who had seen it all!  Things like this give us such a sense of pride and it's the best feeling in the world to be booked because your clients love you and your work more than anyone else's.  These are the people who are a joy and a privilege to work with and we had a fabulous time providing the Hazlewood Castle wedding photography for this gorgeous couple at their beautiful venue on a perfect summer's day.  Donna's brother, Robert, was a star, ensuring the smooth running of the group photo session, he helped take care of the couple's youngest son and was a fantastic organiser throughout the day for his sister and her new husband.  There was a beautiful and emotional blessing in the Chapel of St Leonard, there was laughter in abundance (especially from Donna), the couple's daughter played saxophone, Mark Waddington entertained the guests with magic tricks in his own hilarious style, the weather behaved itself, and we had such a great time capturing some cracking images of Donna and Dave together around the castle grounds.  When a couple tells you that your photographs are the most important thing to them and that they will give priority to investing time with you to get them, that really is music to our ears.  Congratulations Donna and Dave and our sincere thanks for looking after us so well all day.  We can't express how much we enjoyed working with you but it really isn't work when we share a wedding like yours.  Thank you for your confidence in us and for giving us all the time we needed to get lots of variety in your wedding photos.  We particularly loved your evening couple portrait session which resulted in some stunning shots and we are really looking forward to seeing your favourite images showcased in an amazing wedding album.  Enjoy!
