Wedding Photographer Rudding Park | Victoria and Luke

We've been so excited about being Rudding Park wedding photographers for Tor and Luke. We've got to know Tor pretty well and worked with her several times since first meeting her at her brother, Ali and sister in law, Amelia's wedding.  From that wedding we were very fortunate to book two more and it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces again.  This wedding was beautiful, as was the bride, and Tor's attention to detail was impressive.  She's shared some of her plans with us along the way and we knew it would be a wedding with the Wow! factor.  The colour scheme was rich and vibrant and the theme was patriotic, featuring Union flags, the couple's British bulldog, Cilla, and the crystal Yorkshire rose on Tor's veil.  Each stunning bouquet included a crystal initial, the boys had their names embroidered on their shirt cuffs, and Annie at Pawprintz provided the lovely Art Deco inspired stationary.

We started early in the morning as the girls got ready at Tor's mum, Julie's home in Brayton, before we nipped up the road to capture a few shots as Luke and the boys got ready at his parents', Julie and Gary's house.  Our next stop was to start the photography at St Wilfrid's church in Brayton, the same church where Ali and Amelia got married.  We had a great vicar last time and this time, well, Reverend Pete Watson, you were a star!!!  Pete, who's Scottish, was funny, accommodating and extremely entertaining.  He's the first vicar we've ever known to incorporate a Lego castle into a marriage ceremony and the first to enquire if a wedding guest, and one of our grooms from just a few weeks ago, was a true Scotsman!  He gave everyone, including us, a warm welcome and he made Tor and Luke's ceremony so personal to them.

Tor had left nothing to chance, even including pouches of colour co-ordinated confetti on the back of each order of service, resulting in a spectacular shower and some great images before we headed off to start the Rudding Park wedding photography.  Rain had made an unwelcome appearance as the couple left the church but luckily it brightened, allowing us to capture the group photos outside at Rudding Park just as we'd hoped, before it was time to photograph the wedding breakfast room, table details and cake.

Tor looked gorgeous in her Ian Stuart wedding dress but she had a surprise for Luke later on when she emerged in a Jenny Packham evening gown and feather boa, ready to step onto the dance floor with her new husband to perform a surprise routine for their delighted guests.  Luke had an even bigger surprise for his new wife when he and his best men and ushers burst onto the dance floor to perform a Full Monty routine!

A massive and sincere thank you Mr and Mrs Noone for choosing us to be your wedding photographers, for sharing your ideas and your plans with us, and for your friendship.  We hope you love the images which follow and we look forward to designing a spectacular storybook album for you.

If you were a guest at this wedding, please leave a comment.  If you'd like to follow us on Facebook, we'd love that and if you are looking for a West Yorkshire wedding photographer, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
