Rachel and Matthew booked us to be their Oulton Hall wedding photographers for Easter Sunday, at that beautiful time of year when everything is bursting into bloom. The weather in April can range from freezing cold to scorching but Rachel and Matt really did get lucky, enjoying a lovely warm and dry day which couldn't have been more perfect.
After getting ready photographs and the boys' portraits outside, we returned to Rachel and the girls. She was in her stunning vintage style lace dress and an extremely proud dad was waiting to greet her at the bottom of the stairs. The civil ceremony was a joy to capture and full of laughter. Everyone then came outside into the sunshine to congratulate the new Mr and Mrs Hoyle and enjoy a Buck's Fizz and Pimm's reception whilst we completed the group photos.
The weather was so good that after the wedding breakfast and some hilarious speeches, including a cracking one from our bride, the couple opted to stay outside and make the most of the evening sunshine before heading back into the Oulton Suite for their first dance.
