It was a great day for both of us when we were chosen by Amy and Brett as their Rogerthorpe Manor wedding photographers and whenever we work at this beautiful location it's like home because we know the venue and the staff so well and they always give us a warm welcome. Everything took place at Rogerthorpe Manor and Amy's room was unusually peaceful and quiet when we arrived for bridal prep, not like the chaos we're used to as the girls get ready! We kept Brett occupied having some portraits taken in the grounds before the registrar stole him and this always signals that it's not long until tying the knot time, so we went back to Amy for those final minutes before the civil ceremony in the Lawrence Suite. We had perfect weather for the whole day, meaning all photographs were taken outside and we were able to use the pretty areas the immaculate grounds have to offer, all very close together, in the couple's photographs. After the wedding breakfast and speeches we had the most beautiful light and the chance to take some relaxed pictures of Amy and Brett before the evening celebrations got underway.
